About the Role We are seeking a **MECHANICAL ENGINEER** to perform technical analysis of mechanical projects, verification of engineering calculations, field surveys, and technical supervision of engineering design firms—ensuring solution robustness, adherence to technical standards, and execution feasibility of industrial projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct critical analysis and validation of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and contractual requirements; * Verify and review engineering calculations (structural sizing, piping systems, supports, pressure vessels, rotating and static equipment, thermal and hydraulic systems); * Perform field technical surveys for data collection, measurements, interference identification, and validation of project assumptions; * Supervise and provide technical oversight of engineering design firms, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and project guidelines; * Identify technical risks, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities, proposing integrated and economically viable solutions; * Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination (process, electrical, instrumentation, civil); * Participate in multidisciplinary technical meetings and project progress reviews; * Support planning and control of project development phases; * Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards (ASME, API, ABNT, NR’s, etc.), internal standards, and safety, quality, and environmental requirements. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with active registration at CREA; * Proven experience in analysis and review of industrial mechanical projects; * Experience in verification of calculations and sizing of mechanical systems; * Experience in technical supervision of engineering design firms and interface management; * Solid knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings, P\&IDs, isometrics, and specifications; * Experience in industrial projects (energy, oil and gas, mining, steelmaking, pulp and paper, or similar); * Analytical mindset, systemic vision, proactivity, and ability to integrate across disciplines; * Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational reliability.
