




Job Summary: Assemble and disassemble scaffolds on structures and construction sites, ensuring safety and stability in compliance with established standards and procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Control equipment and select assembly components for scaffolds. 2. Ensure the solidity of scaffold joints and fastening elements. 3. Monitor production tests and verify machine operation. **DESCRIPTION:** Assemble and disassemble scaffolds on structures and construction sites, ensuring structural safety and stability, in accordance with the company’s established assembly standards and procedures. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Control equipment and select assembly components; * Verify the solidity of the bearing zone, install leveling bases to increase load-bearing surface area and precisely compensate for existing unevenness; * Verify the solidity of joints and fastening elements (clamps fully immobilized) to ensure maximum scaffold load capacity, particularly during critical assembly and disassembly phases; * Conduct post-assembly solidity inspection and alert regarding safety issues; * Install, secure, and remove protective coverings on scaffolds; * Operate and perform maintenance on scaffold components, tools, and equipment used; * Assemble scaffolds according to standardized drawings; * Use prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE); * Comply with occupational health, hygiene, and safety regulations; * Perform mechanical scaffold assembly tasks under supervision, including equipment and associated accessories, ensuring proper functionality; * Monitor production tests, verifying proper machine operation; * Assess need for repair or replacement of tools used in the production process; * Record working hours, services performed, and parts replaced for control purposes; * Maintain records and references for equipment and spare parts; * Support REMA TIP TOP’s General Training Plan by participating in and implementing procedures and standards learned during training; * Respond promptly and efficiently to requests related to your area (e.g., cleaning, maintenance); * Maintain regular communication with Foremen, Supervisors, and Managers to keep all job-related requirements up to date; * Execute assigned tasks and immediately inform direct supervisors of any interference affecting service execution when requested; * Handle basic tools (e.g., torque wrenches, ratchets, sanders, etc.); * Comply with all instructions from superiors, provided they do not jeopardize physical or mental integrity, while respecting REMA TIP TOP’s Code of Ethics and Safety Regulations; * Participate in REMA TIP TOP’s and/or client’s Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS), as required, at assigned permanent or temporary units; * Prepare necessary materials and equipment for execution, under guidance; * Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization; * If qualified, occasionally drive vehicles to substitute for or assist the driver in transporting personnel and equipment; * Perform duties assigned to the position, with awareness of and commitment to continuous improvement of processes and implementation of all procedures related to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.
