About the role As a Civil Works Buyer, you will be responsible for acquiring materials, equipment, and technical services necessary for executing our heavy civil engineering projects. Your role will be strategic, focusing on ensuring the best cost\-benefit ratio, appropriate delivery times, and the required quality standards for our projects. You will also actively participate in planning and supporting operational teams, directly contributing to efficiency, cost reduction, and project performance. **Responsibilities:** Conduct quotations and negotiations for materials and services related to civil works; Select and develop reliable and competitive suppliers; Analyze projects and technical specifications together with the engineering team; Ensure that materials comply with established quality standards and delivery schedules; Manage contracts and supplier relationships; Monitor performance indicators and prepare strategic reports; Support project planning and execution with a supply chain perspective. **Requirements:** **For this opportunity, we seek a professional with:** Solid experience in purchasing for construction projects (materials, equipment, and services); Ability to identify solutions that optimize costs and timelines; Technical knowledge of civil construction materials and outsourced services; Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings will be considered a plus; Experience in infrastructure or heavy construction projects is a plus. Ability to work well in teams and under pressure. Intermediate computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. **Education:** High school diploma required.
