**Responsibilities and Duties** **Learn about this professional’s day-to-day work:**
* **Edits reports with editorial rigor and a discerning eye**, ensuring final content maintains RPC’s and Rede Globo’s technical, aesthetic, and editorial quality standards;
* **Proposes and develops story ideas**, identifying relevant narratives that can evolve into major reports and impactful content;
* **Collaborates closely with reporting teams**, aligning approaches, recordings, and directions to maximize story outcomes;
* **Actively contributes to program and newscast production and wrap-up**, supporting editorial decisions and ensuring smooth content delivery;
* **Edits reports and texts for multiple platforms**, including programs, newscasts, and digital content;
* **Drafts scripts and collaborates on narrative construction of reports**, helping transform information into clear and engaging stories;
* **Reviews texts jointly with reporters**, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines;
* **Monitors and guides recordings**, contributing editorial direction and execution quality to reports;
* **Makes occasional on-air appearances** on RPC’s journalistic programs, including live or pre-recorded segments.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **What we seek in you:**
* **Bachelor’s degree in Journalism**. A postgraduate degree in the field is considered a plus;
* **Professional registration (DRT/MTB)** for practicing journalism;
* **Experience in a journalism newsroom**, with proven background in producing, investigating, and editing journalistic content;
* **Proficiency in daily workflow tools**, such as Microsoft Office and editing software used in journalistic production environments;
* **Keen awareness of regional context**, with solid knowledge and interest in topics related to the history, geography, and culture of Paraná;
* **Collaborative and dynamic profile**, with ease working in teams and adapting to fast-paced, organized newsroom routines;
* **Strong communication skills**, on-camera presence, and ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging narratives;
* **Flexibility in working hours**, considering the dynamic nature and demands of journalistic production;
* **Driver’s license (Category B)** is considered a plus;
* **Residence in Maringá or willingness to work in the city.**
