This position is for our agricultural segment, where we successfully connect our customers, producers, and industry. **PURPOSE AND IMPACT IN THE ROLE** ----------------------------------- The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Technician will provide support and leadership to ensure that the Chapecó operation maintains legal compliance and meets Cargill's fundamental requirements regarding health, safety, and the environment. In this role, you will support the implementation and execution of environmental, health, safety, and process safety management processes and programs. You will understand in detail the application of safe and compliant operational practices and support the demonstration of compliance related to company policies, work processes, programs, and standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Build partnerships and interact with production workers, plant leadership, and health, safety, and environment business leadership * Develop knowledge and execute work processes involving health, safety, and environment and control routines * Review and detail environmental permits related to operations and construction, identify compliance demonstration requirements, activities, and tasks, and implement and execute the compliance demonstration program * Locate required corporate and legal processes, programs, and controls, and integrate them into local-level operational procedures, tools, and work instructions to standardize frontline processes, and monitor, analyze, and adjust to improve performance * Perform recordkeeping, analysis, and reporting tasks, identify improvement and risk mitigation opportunities, and leverage and implement the most effective technologies and improvements in alignment with leadership * Support preparation for audits, government inspections, and customer visits, and collect data and prepare necessary reports to monitor maturity, performance, and compliance on health, safety, and environment topics * Support determining appropriate training content and delivery methods according to global and regional requirements, support gap assessments to identify training needs, support curriculum adjustments to reflect site-specific needs, and support training delivery * Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while referring more complex issues to the appropriate team * Other assigned duties **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Technical degree in occupational safety * Operational experience in health, safety, and environment * Office software proficiency PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Completed or ongoing higher education in related fields such as engineering, law, etc. * Power BI * Enablon \#LI\-AA2 \#LI\-Onsite At Cargill, every person matters.
