This role requires high attentiveness, agility, accountability for funds, and strong communication skills to ensure a satisfying shopping experience. ***Prior experience in this role is desirable.*** **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * **Customer Service:** Friendly reception and assistance with inquiries. * **Sales Recording:** Scanning items using the barcode reader and announcing amounts. * **Payment Processing:** Receiving payments, calculating change, and processing card transactions. * **Cash Register Closing:** Verifying funds to prevent discrepancies at the end of the shift. * **Organization:** Maintaining a clean workplace and ensuring adequate supplies of bags and receipt rolls. **Required Profile and Skills:** * **Constant Attention:** Essential to avoid errors in change calculation and transaction recording. * **Accountability:** Handling cash and ensuring accurate reconciliation. * **Interpersonal Skills:** Friendliness and patience when interacting with diverse customer profiles. * **Agility:** Speed in scanning items and completing purchases. * **Basic Mathematics:** Essential for verifying amounts.
