Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for preparing, handling, and organizing cargo; interpreting labeling symbols; storing products; and performing preventive maintenance on equipment, all while adhering to safety standards. Works in compliance with safety and quality standards Job Description: **Forklift Operator Responsibilities:** Prepare and handle cargo. Organize cargo by interpreting packaging symbols, store products according to their expiration dates, identify cargo characteristics for transportation and storage, and segregate non-conforming cargo. Perform scheduled maintenance on cargo-handling equipment. Work in compliance with safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards; operate a gas-powered reach truck in confined spaces. Salary commensurate with the position, to be negotiated. Prior experience in this field is required by the company.
