Construction Assistant

Job Summary: A professional to perform support activities on civil construction sites, including manual tasks, material handling, excavation, assistance to masons and other professionals, as well as cleaning and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Assist in construction and renovation of civil engineering projects. 2. Perform various manual tasks at construction sites. 3. Support professionals such as masons and equipment operators. Perform duties and responsibilities associated with this position, including: performing manual tasks; and assisting in construction and renovation of civil engineering projects. * Load, unload, and transport general materials; \* Prepare and transport materials, tools, or any components, keeping them clean and in good condition; \* Excavate trenches and pits, cut grooves in floors and walls, extract soil, plaster, and mortar to enable foundation work; \* Mix cement, sand, water, gravel, and other materials manually or mechanically to produce concrete or mortar; \* Assemble and dismantle reinforcement cages, scaffolding, metal formwork, and others; \* Assist in rebar work by preparing necessary materials for assembling reinforcement cages, formwork, and others; \* Prepare construction sites; \* Assist professionals including masons, equipment operators, painters, and others; \* Perform general cleaning and maintenance of facilities; \* May operate motor vehicles according to driving license qualifications; \* Assist warehouse activities: delivery and receipt of materials, tools, equipment, PPEs and collective protective equipment (CPEs); \* Attend training sessions related to job responsibilities; \* Comply with internal AMG processes: Procedures, Work Instructions, Construction Management Plan, and other documents related to the Integrated Management System (IMS) covering Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality, legal requirements and/or other applicable requirements, as well as Client Standards; \* Perform other duties pertinent to this position and any additional tasks required during the course of activities/services.
