A professional responsible for promoting occupational health and safety by identifying hazards and implementing preventive measures against work-related accidents and illnesses.

Promote the health and safety of workers in their occupational environments by identifying occupational hazards and implementing measures to prevent work-related accidents and illnesses.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Participate in developing emergency and fire-fighting plans, including conducting drills and evacuations.
* Analyze data and prepare and present operational and managerial reports related to occupational safety.
* Prepare investigation reports for accidents without time off.
* Conduct risk analyses and issue work permits, thoroughly evaluating risks associated with specific activities, resulting in defining guidelines and preventive measures to ensure personnel safety and facility integrity.
* Support the implementation of workplace safety awareness campaigns aligned with the company's reality.
* Implement occupational safety management systems.
* Supervise and inspect third-party contractor activities to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations at the site.
* Manage occupational safety documentation.
* Advise senior management on occupational safety matters.
* Identify technical solutions for identified occupational safety issues.
* Recommend control measures to eliminate or minimize occupational hazards.
* Provide advisory support to the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA).
* Monitor the effectiveness of existing risk control measures included in legal programs.
* Collect data for ergonomic job analysis.
* Develop and implement an action plan based on the risk inventory, including preventive and corrective measures to reduce identified risks, establishing deadlines, allocating resources, and ensuring the effectiveness of actions.
* Develop and maintain an updated Risk Management Program.
* Monitor health and safety events submitted to eSocial, ensuring proper registration of information related to SST event generation, thereby supporting clients' compliance with legal obligations.
* Conduct inspections and surveys of facilities and services to ensure compliance with current safety regulations, identifying possible irregularities or failures in safety procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory standards related to occupational safety and health, staying up-to-date on applicable regulations and guaranteeing their implementation in the workplace.
* Manage the delivery and replacement of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Conduct occupational hygiene measurements, assessing agents present in the work environment using appropriate techniques and equipment for sample collection and analysis, identifying potential health risks to employees and supporting control measures.
* Collaborate in creating programs focused on quality of life and well-being at work, such as the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) and the Internal Week for Accident Prevention at Work (SIPAT).
* Deliver lectures, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and educational interventions on occupational safety.
* Conduct low-complexity trainings (e.g., PGR presentation, PPE, CIPA, Ergonomics, etc.).
* Conduct medium- and high-complexity trainings (e.g., NR 10, NR 12, NR 20, NR 33, NR 35, Fire Brigade, etc.).
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Technical Course in Occupational Safety
* Experience in the field
* Registration with the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy (CREA) or the Ministry of Labor
* Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
