Maintenance and Supplies Buyer \#1300 **General Description:** Responsible for acquiring materials, supplies, and services necessary for the company’s operations, focusing on both general supplies and items related to the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. Engages in supplier negotiation, cost control, and deadline compliance, ensuring operational efficiency and expense reduction. **Main Responsibilities:** * Identify purchasing needs for general supplies and maintenance materials/services in coordination with internal departments. * Conduct quotations, analyze proposals, and negotiate prices, delivery times, and payment terms. * Issue purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure adherence to agreed schedules. * Select, qualify, and develop suppliers for parts, supplies, and maintenance services. * Manage minimum inventory levels of critical and frequently used items to prevent operational downtime. * Support the preparation and monitoring of the supplies and maintenance budget. * Prepare cost reports comparing budgeted versus actual expenditures. * Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to secure better commercial terms. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and internal procurement policies. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Experience in procurement, particularly in maintenance (vehicles, machinery, and/or facilities). * Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. * Strong negotiation, organizational, and cost-reduction mindset. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Proactivity and initiative. * Analytical ability and results orientation. * Ethics and responsibility. **Minimum Education Level:** Bachelor's Degree
