Requirements * 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer, Tech Lead, or Software Architect * Proven experience in refactoring legacy systems * Strong expertise in web application architecture and software design * Proficiency in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL * AWS expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Elasticache, CloudWatch) * Experience with REST APIs, complex integrations, and messaging systems (SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka) * Knowledge of design patterns, modularization, and best practices * Experience with CI/CD, pipelines, and version control * Proficiency in data modeling (SQL and NoSQL) * Familiarity with Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-driven Architecture, and CQRS (desirable) Soft Skills: * Strategic thinking and systemic vision * Analytical ability and capacity to solve complex problems * Clear communication for technical decisions and business alignment * Proactivity and autonomy * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Key Responsibilities We are seeking a Software Architect who goes beyond coding: someone who thinks about structure, scalability, and continuous system evolution. If you view architecture as a strategic foundation for product growth and have experience transforming legacy systems into modern solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Defining and evolving system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and technical sustainability. * Refactoring legacy systems, leading partial or full restructurings. * Designing and guiding the development of web applications following software design best practices. * Developing and reviewing REST API integrations and messaging systems. * Supporting technical teams in architectural decision-making and development best practices. * Diagnosing and optimizing application performance, scalability, and resource consumption. * Defining architectural standards, modularization, and code organization. * Collaborating on building and evolving CI/CD pipelines and automations. Hiring Type PJ (Individual Contractor) Education Level * Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Software Architecture, Distributed Systems, or related areas (desirable)
