This flexibility increases the likelihood of continued employment, allowing professionals to be assigned to new projects as needed, thereby strengthening their career path with us. **\#WEMILPLAN** **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct pre\-use inspections of machines and tools prior to commencing activities, verifying proper operation and promptly reporting any irregularities to the immediate supervisor. * Verify the quality of consumables received, checking their suitability for use before initiating the welding process. * Receive instructions from the team leader regarding authorization to weld pipe joints using the GTAW – TIG process, enabling subsequent filling and finishing operations. * Select joints for welding using a rotary brush. * Perform weld fill on pipe joints using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) electrodes. * Carry out welding on base materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel, as required. * Submit welds to non\-destructive testing in accordance with applicable standards. * Operate aerial work platforms when necessary, provided the individual has been trained and certified for this function. **Knowledge Requirements:** * Certification in welder qualification. * Qualification in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process.
