Guidance for family members and caregivers **Position: Home Care Speech-Language Pathologist** Cachoeiro de Itapemirim/ES We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based care, focusing on elderly patients with language disorders and dysphagia, promoting nutritional safety, functional communication, and quality of life. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct speech-language pathology assessments focused on language and swallowing (dysphagia); * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; * Provide communication rehabilitation (expressive and receptive language); * Assess and manage risk of bronchoaspiration; * Recommend safe food textures and feeding strategies; * Guide family members and caregivers on safe feeding practices; * Document patient progress in medical records and prepare reports; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active registration at CREFONO; * Experience with dysphagia and language rehabilitation in adults/elderly patients; * Prior experience in home-based or hospital care; * Knowledge of neurological and/or geriatric patients; * Strong communication skills, empathy, and a human-centered approach; * Availability for home care services.
