Job Description \-As a Full Planning and Control Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing interfaces and connections among departments and disciplines to optimize strategies with a focus on sustaining and delivering production results. You will work closely with operational areas—Mine, Processing Plant, Slurry Pipeline, and Port—to ensure smooth operations and data-driven decision-making. **Key responsibilities include:** * Conducting result closing and current horizon assessments with departments and strategically leading daily analysis forums. * Supporting operational areas in scenario analysis and productive performance optimization, using intensive data analysis to develop the weekly loss profile. * Developing and monitoring the weekly and daily production plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. * Monitoring operational KPIs and identifying significant deviations, proposing corrective actions and improvement opportunities, as well as managing necessary actions to restore normal operations when deviations occur. * Promoting a safe working environment, integrating Anglo American’s operational safety and sustainability principles. * Ensuring alignment with internal policies, corporate values, and governance practices. **Qualifications \-The profile we seek for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science or related fields; * MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred. * Prior experience in mining operations preferred, especially in iron ore. * Experience in industrial environments with a focus on planning, production control, and data-driven decision-making preferred. **Additional Information \-Why join our team?** We are a company committed to turning our beliefs and values into reality.
