**Subtransmission Technician I**
Work Location: São Leopoldo/RS
Work Model: 100% On-site
Company: CPFL RGE
**Prerequisites:**
* Completed Technical Course in: Electrical Engineering, Electroelectronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Electronics;
* Active CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians);
* Valid and active Driver's License Category B;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
* Experience in construction and maintenance of telecommunications networks;
* Experience in programming and maintenance of Radio Links;
* Residency in São Leopoldo/RS or neighboring cities (required upon assuming the position).
**Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:**
* Operate energized SEP equipment, medium-voltage and high-voltage circuit breakers, and disconnect switches;
* Inspect substations and energized equipment, telecommunications sites, and switching devices on transmission lines;
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, and operation of equipment and systems—including protection systems, teleprotection, relays, automation, and control systems for substations; telecommunications systems; data and voice networks; boundary metering systems; and automated line sectioning mechanisms for transmission lines;
* Install SEP equipment and supervision, control, and command systems for substations, telecommunications sites, and switching devices;
* Conduct testing and commissioning activities for new systems entering operation at substations, telecommunications sites, and subtransmission line switching and supervision devices;
* Install equipment and perform tasks according to available electrical manuals and drawings;
* Manage collection, storage, transportation, and disposal of waste, aiming to preserve health and the environment;
Perform live-line work at substations from a safe distance.
