A market-leading company in its segment with over 100 years of tradition, seeking dynamic, innovative individuals with a systemic vision to continue innovating and delighting customers through product quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** Conduct audits of purchased products—whether domestic/imported—or third-party processes related to GEDORE items; Verify dimensional and visual characteristics; perform necessary assembly/functional tests using appropriate instruments; compare results against pre-established specifications in drawings, standards, and GEDORE Quality Management System documentation; Determine disposition regarding issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), releasing items with respective audit results and placing them in the appropriate warehouse center; Evaluate supplier initial samples and sample lots by performing measurements and tests, issuing reports with findings and dispositions; Execute PFMEAs (Process FMEAs), convene and conduct meetings with employees to identify and analyze potential failure effects and their corresponding corrective actions; Conduct product and process audits; Perform inspections at production hold points and final inspection points, forwarding approved parts to the next process and routing others for scrap or rework per disposition; Issue NCRs when defects affect final product quality or hinder subsequent processes; Conduct detailed audits of special parts lots, performing hardness, magnaflux, torsion resistance, fatigue, hydrostatic pressure, and other tests as required, critically evaluating results to meet product technical specifications; Consult with the department manager where parts are being audited to explore opportunities for improving their quality standards; Communicate with external customers to clarify equipment usage, delivery timelines for their items, or inform them about item service status; Issue technical assistance reports, verifying and analyzing information to assess item receipt condition and quantities; Determine—through defect analysis on the item—whether the required service will be covered under warranty, billed, or returned unrepaired; Identify and analyze possible causes of defects via visual inspection or applied tests on items, documenting and issuing NCRs when necessary; Send quotations to customers if the analyzed defect is determined not to be manufacturing-related; Approve customer-issued orders; Monitor item delivery deadlines and transportation type; Issue return invoices for simple consignment, spare part sales, and/or services; Communicate with external customers to clarify equipment usage, delivery timelines for their items, or inform them about item service status; Perform measurements and issue verification certificates; Package items considering their fragility and dispatch them to the shipping section, identifying them with their respective invoice; Perform functional tests on recurring or defective items in technical assistance, verifying compliance with standard requirements and providing statistical data for the company’s Quality Management System; Prepare and send letters containing considerations regarding: pending parts, returns, technical opinions on item usage, and others as needed depending on case or situation; Analyze, enter data, and release returned items, verifying quality, quantity, and discontinuation status, then forwarding them to the responsible department; Coordinate work groups using Problem Solving Analysis Methodology; Conduct quality index audits for projects, scoring them from a customer-oriented perspective; Develop and implement process control plans for manufacturing processes, specifying measurable characteristics and instruments used for measurement; Randomly audit a finished product ready for shipment during dispatch, per specific instruction (Finished Product); Audit items from the dispatch warehouse, verifying all dimensional and visual characteristics and performing functional tests per instruction (Layout and Functional Testing); Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) studies and analyses; Perform process capability studies (CPK and PPK); Audit products from other manufacturers, detailing their characteristics and comparing them with GEDORE products per instruction (Benchmarking); GEDORE Product Quality Index; Calibrate dimensional measuring equipment using required standards and instruments, following instructions, identifying instrument error and comparing it against metrology-determined acceptance criteria based on production processes; Issue calibration certificates for dimensional measuring equipment; Perform measurements for the company’s production departments, supporting accuracy of performed measurements; Calculate measurement uncertainty by applying sources of error; Define calibration intervals based on instrument usage to maximize measurement reliability; Generate codes for newly acquired instruments or devices by metrology; Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measuring instruments; Schedule external calibration at Brazilian Calibration Network laboratories, contact suppliers, and request information; Monitor third-party maintenance and calibration of instruments conducted on-site, critically analyzing results and applied processes; Execute MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), conducting studies such as Repeatability & Reproducibility, Bias, Linearity, Stability, and Attribute Analysis, analyzing the measurement process based on statistical data; Receive customer returns; Inspect items returned by end customers; Route returned items to the appropriate unit for rework or storage according to disposition; Maintain a clean and organized workplace; Complete required records per the specific ISQ; Train new employees per the Training ISQ; Participate in various meetings per leadership guidance; Use appropriate PPE for the role per Occupational Safety Department guidance;
