Would you like to join our team? **Primary Location:** Brazil (BR) \- Rio Grande do Sul \- Montenegro **Function:** Factory Engineering (CA) **Title:** Electrical Engineer PL \- Montenegro/RS \- 122382 We are seeking an Electrical Engineer PL for John Deere's Montenegro/RS facility to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our industrial electrical infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical engineering and maintenance projects related to building infrastructure, utilities, electrical systems, production equipment, and medium- to large-scale industrial processes.**Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Design, analyze, and oversee low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) electrical projects, performing calculations, sizing, and descriptive reports; * Develop technical specifications for procurement of equipment, materials, and engineering services; * Support the definition and implementation of preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance strategies, applying root cause analysis methodologies; * Coordinate, supervise, and monitor suppliers, service providers, and contracted teams during construction and commissioning activities; * Ensure full compliance of installations and projects with technical and safety standards (NR-10, NR-12, and other applicable requirements); * Prepare technical reports, operational indicators, and engineering procedures, serving as the internal technical reference. **Required Skills** -------------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering with active registration at CREA; * Basic English: delivers simple self-introductions, writes emails with support, and reads moderately complex messages; * Experience in electrical projects, maintenance, or industrial engineering; * Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, and ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams; * Proficiency in engineering and drafting software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar); * Knowledge of project management and supplier control; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management and control tools; * Thorough understanding of relevant technical standards (NR-10, NR-12, NBR 5410, NBR 14039); * Willingness to work onsite in Montenegro/RS. **What Sets You Apart** ------------------------- * Prior experience in medium- or large-scale industrial environments or utility systems; * Current NR-10 certifications (Basic and SEP); * Familiarity with reliability and failure analysis methodologies (FMEA, RCA); * Advanced knowledge of EPLAN and project management tools (MS Project); * Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem solving, planning, collaboration, proactivity, risk management, results orientation, and technical excellence. **Our Key Benefits** * Variable compensation; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension plan; * Eyewear benefit; * Vaccine reimbursement; * Corporate University; * TotalPass; * Depending on the location, you may have an on-site cafeteria, meal voucher, or food allowance; * Pharmacy assistance; * And more **Our Selection Process** Selection begins with your application; for some positions, additional assessments may apply.
