Job Summary: Responsible for vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance, with emphasis on alignment, balancing, suspension, and brakes, while ensuring quality customer service and workplace organization. Teamwork and focus on delivering high-quality customer service. **We are seeking an Automotive Alignment Technician for São Leopoldo, RS.** **Reporting to the department manager, your responsibilities will include:** * Conducting axle inspection and geometry checks; evaluating tire wear and balance; * Performing tire inspections focused on wear patterns; * Assessing the condition of control arm bushings, steering rod ends, and checking for excessive play in axle hubs; * Inspecting vehicle suspension/brake systems, performing alignment and balancing using 3D equipment; * Familiarity with multi-brand vehicles; * Performing general greasing and lubrication as scheduled or upon request; * Diagnosing passenger vehicles, replacing parts, and servicing suspension, steering, brakes, balancing, tire replacement, alignment, and camber adjustment; * Assisting in workplace organization, equipment and material maintenance, keeping the work area clean and orderly; * Complying with company safety regulations; * Communicating with tire shops regarding tire replacements and mechanical issues, among other tasks; suspension, clutches, electronic fuel injection, cleaning/maintenance and repair of automotive air conditioning. * Requesting replacement parts and auxiliary materials required to perform services; * Performing other related duties as required by the department. **Requirements** * Completed high school education or Technical Certification in Alignment Mechanics; * Driver's license Category B is a plus; * Experience in auto centers (not engine mechanics, but specifically alignment mechanics); * Training in 3D alignment is a plus; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and proactivity; * Must deliver excellent customer service, demonstrating willingness to assist customers with any questions.
