Description: WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: * Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields; * Technical course in Mechanics or Mechatronics is a plus, as are courses in the corrugated packaging segment; * Desired: training in Routine Management and Project Management; * Experience in developing basic and execution-phase engineering projects, with knowledge of the FEL methodology; * Experience implementing medium- and large-scale projects in the corrugated cardboard industry; * Knowledge of national and international standards; * Intermediate English; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Execute project planning, supporting the preparation of Scopes and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and defining new project management plans (Risk Management; Communication Management; Scope Management; Schedule Management; Quality Management; Human Resource Management for Projects; Budget Management, among others); * Coordinate, plan, develop, and control all activities related to new projects across all execution phases: feasibility studies; conceptual engineering; basic engineering; and detailed and installation engineering—providing high-tech solutions and ensuring all necessary information for new projects is available; * Develop projects and supervise construction and installation services using internal resources or specialized contractors, according to each project’s size, complexity, and required engineering disciplines; * Maintain direct contact with engineering firms supporting new project execution, and control the distribution of engineering documents for internal reviews, ensuring each project is executed to expected quality standards and complies with Smurfit Westrock’s recommended engineering standards and Brazilian and/or international regulatory procedures; * Schedule and monitor engineering services together with business unit teams; * When requested, supervise field installation services, preparing physical execution schedules for projects, tracking progress of execution activities, managing involved teams and associated risks per project, identifying alternatives to mitigate impacts, and managing communication and potential conflicts among project stakeholders; * Specify and support the Procurement Department in acquiring equipment, materials, and services. Monitor material and equipment quotation processes, participate in technical and commercial alignment sessions, attend supplier meetings, contribute to supplier selection decisions, assist in issuing new contracts, track delivery timelines for new procurements, and coordinate receipt and storage of materials and equipment for new project installations; * Monitor projected and actual budgets for each project. Track physical and financial progress of projects, monitoring monthly expenditures, updating disbursement controls per project, and preparing budgets to support issuance of DCFs (Cash Flow Forecasts) for new projects; * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations by assessing environmental conditions, guiding third parties, and supervising their performance during activities; * Prepare monthly managerial project monitoring reports covering Budget, Quality, and Physical Progress, as well as final project closure reports, including Lessons Learned and summaries of project control pillars (Schedule, Cost, Quality, and Scope adherence); * Perform other duties related to your role and work process procedures, as required. 2512130202201861867
