If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future—and engineer it? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Operationalize procurement of services, consumables, tools, and other materials to meet identified demands, evaluating quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms, aiming to achieve established targets. **Detailed Description:** * Support identification of potential suppliers of raw materials, consumables, maintenance items, equipment, parts, or services to fulfill the Company’s demands, enabling subsequent internal recommendation for participation in competitive bidding. * Conduct quotations and procurement of technical materials, raw materials, and services, supporting the technical selection process where necessary, performing relevant negotiations (price, delivery timeline, freight, quality, etc.), comparing against the established budget, aiming to meet project and company needs regarding costs, timelines, and added value, in compliance with established procurement procedures and policies. * Support departments in drafting technical scopes for service contracts or technical specifications when required; participate in meetings and/or other interactions to facilitate and ensure accuracy in achieving expected results concerning timelines, costs, quality, and service delivery. * Support procurement and contracting processes—including contract termination and amendments—in accordance with the Legal Department’s defined templates, or implementing previously validated modifications, ensuring compliance with contractual management procedures, conducting procurement follow-up, and navigating authorization hierarchies for release, in line with the Company’s regulations and procedures. * Conduct market research to identify and develop new suppliers of products and services capable of competing with current ones, aiming to reduce costs without compromising quality relative to currently used products. * Issue purchase orders upon approval, executing the administrative workflow prescribed in the process and definitively forwarding them to suppliers. * Jointly validate with material and service requesters the supplier qualification and scope of services to be contracted. * Conduct delivery follow-up and intervene when necessary to ensure fulfillment of agreed contractual clauses. * Register suppliers in the system and collect information on their technical, tax, labor, safety, and compliance evaluations, performing basic analysis and forwarding findings to the respective responsible departments for critical topics. * Register materials according to internal procedures to ensure process accuracy. * Perform assigned activities as per received planning, under supervision and/or support from professionals with greater technical expertise or immediate managers—even for occasional guidance or problem resolution.
