Description
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and innovate products, compounds, and processes aligned with market expectations and meeting internal customers;
Identify and pursue opportunities for product, material, packaging, and compound development to maintain competitiveness in performance and cost, observing trends through benchmarking;
Promote and lead the continuous review of DFMEA to ensure an effective method for evaluating products and compounds during the development and innovation phases;
Influence and provide technical guidance to related teams and departments to follow necessary workflows and processes for effective evaluation within deadlines, and achieve smooth industrialization launch without setbacks when introducing new products, formulations, compounds, and innovations;
Identify requirements and propose CAPEX due to changes in production processes resulting from new products, compounds, and new materials;
Manage the project portfolio to meet each project’s deliverables on time using project management tools;
Analyze feasibility and lead projects to support strategies related to internal technical approvals of formulations, materials, tooling, products, new processes, and machinery.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical);
5 years of experience with technical knowledge in product and/or materials and/or processes;
Experience in companies within the rubber industry;
Intermediate/Fluent English for communication with international suppliers;
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
**Desirable**:
Postgraduate degree / MBA in Project Management.
