Opportunity for personal growth and contribution to success. **Shipping Assistant** ------------------------- **Are you looking for a new opportunity in your professional career?** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The industrial area in Portão (RS) has this opportunity to work in the shipping department. **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Remove materials from the production line and label them on their respective packaging, assisting with organization. * Keep materials for each customer organized in their designated locations until shipment. * Identify parts using labels and perform sorting in their designated locations. * Verify parts being loaded onto trucks, assisting the checker in following loading lists to ensure cargo efficiency and safety. * Properly pack parts both on the floor and inside trucks, applying appropriate protection to prevent damage such as scratches, dents, or oxidation, using linings and wooden supports to stabilize parts. * Build or reinforce wooden support structures for safe transportation of large metal parts, including fabrication of reinforced crates and pallets. * Count and verify quantities of items ready for shipment, helping compare sales orders, production orders, or invoices. * Inspect parts, components, and finished products, checking dimensions and finishes to identify defects. * Build special or reinforced packaging, using protective materials suitable for product packaging while prioritizing part quality. * Use hand saws and circular saws to perform adjustments or repairs on wooden packaging or pallets used for transporting heavy or bulky products. * Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes to organize and store products safely and efficiently for shipment. * Load products onto transport vehicles, ensuring products are secure and properly distributed to prevent damage during transit. * Has low autonomy and requires periodic supervision by the immediate supervisor. * Participate in internal and external training sessions, complying with guidance or requests from the immediate supervisor. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed elementary school diploma. * High school diploma or technical education diploma preferred. * Experience in shipping and/or inventory control functions. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite preferred. * NR-11 certification for forklift operation preferred. * NR-35 certification preferred. **We Offer** ------------------ **We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and promotes professional development.
