




**Quality Control Inspector II** ---------------------------------------- **Are you looking for a new opportunity in your professional career?** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The industrial sector in Novo Hamburgo (RS) has this opportunity to work in the quality area. **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Perform quality inspections and issue reports at various stages of the manufacturing process, such as dimensional inspection, visual weld inspection, incoming inspection, hardness measurements, non-destructive testing, material receiving, measurements of various parameters—including torque, thickness, hardness, and geometric tolerances—among others, to ensure compliance with product characteristics and specifications. * Prepare non-destructive testing reports and measurement reports for complex parts such as bearings, nozzles, rotors, hoods, among others; perform measurements and prepare supplementary reports, such as pre-repair studies, post-repair reports, reverse engineering reports, expert appraisal reports, assist in failure root cause investigations, and maintain various records for internal archiving, technical assistance, or data books, as well as carry out other related and inherent duties—for example, guiding and monitoring various production phases to ensure adherence to technical specifications. * Support Level I inspectors in more complex activities they are trained to perform, aiming at their professional development. * Seek optimization of time and resources in inspection activities, ensuring established technical and quality standards. * Monitor outsourced services such as ultrasonic testing and 3D scanning, ensuring that service providers fulfill expected tasks while providing support during execution in accordance with safety, environmental, and health procedures. * Propose and implement improvements in processes within your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and definitions. * Serve as the technical authority in your area of specialization, advising other employees on relevant technical aspects. * Participate in internal and external training programs, as directed or requested by your immediate supervisor. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed high school diploma. * Preferred qualification: Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or related fields. * Preferably extensive training experience and practical work experience in the quality field. **We offer** **We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and fosters professional development.
