Job Description: MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION We are hiring a Maintenance Electrician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance on industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the company’s electrical systems and equipment. Technical knowledge of reading drawings, using specialized tools, adhering to safe work practices, good physical condition, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. Formal education in the field and continuous updating on new techniques and materials will be considered as advantages. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, panels, motors, distribution boards, lighting, outlets, and other components. * Diagnose electrical faults and propose appropriate technical solutions. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. * Carry out installation and assembly of electrical and electro-electronic equipment. * Conduct tests and measurements using appropriate instruments (multimeters, megohmmeters, clamp meters, etc.). * Ensure compliance with technical and occupational safety standards (NR-10, NR-35, etc.). * Complete work orders, technical reports, and maintenance checklists. * Collaborate with other maintenance teams (mechanical, hydraulic, etc.) when required. * Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Prior Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance. * Education and Training: Completed high school; a Technical Course in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or related fields is an advantage. * Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams; panel assembly; automation systems and electrical control systems; basic knowledge of PLCs and electronic systems (desirable). * Knowledge of Materials and Tools: Proficiency in construction materials and correct use of tools such as trowels, levels, tape measures, etc. * Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical drawings. * Physical Capacity: Good physical condition for performing manual labor and outdoor work. * Workplace Safety: Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Measurement and Calculation: Proficiency in measurements and calculations to ensure structural quality and safety. * Teamwork: Ability to cooperate and maintain positive working relationships with other site professionals (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.). * Attention to Detail: Focus and precision to follow technical specifications and regulations. * Professional Development: Interest in learning new techniques, materials, and industry regulations. * Communication: Strong communication skills to understand instructions and interact effectively with the team. 2512090203141910946
