




Education Regularly enrolled master's student in Computer Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with interest in embedded systems, applied electronics, and instrumentation. Experience Previous experience in research, academic, or industrial projects involving sensor integration, firmware development, or IoT systems is desirable. Experience in assembling electronic prototypes, laboratory testing, and hardware validation will be considered an advantage. Knowledge Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics, embedded programming in C/C\+\+ or Python, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I²C, MQTT, Modbus, LoRa), and use of microcontrollers (ESP32, ARM Cortex\-M or equivalents). Familiarity with environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, GNSS, accelerometers, etc.), development tools (ESP\-IDF, PlatformIO, Arduino IDE), hardware debugging, and use of oscilloscope/multimeter for testing. Requirements / Competencies Practical and analytical work skills, attention to detail, organization, and proactivity. Ability to follow experimental protocols, document results, and propose improvements to embedded solutions. Basic/intermediate technical English for reading documentation and technical manuals. Activities to be performed Develop and validate firmware for sensor data acquisition and transmission. Design and test embedded electronic circuits, ensuring compatibility with IoT communication modules. Integrate and calibrate environmental and operational sensors used in AgroPredict. Conduct laboratory experiments to validate hardware and firmware. Support field data collection, ensuring measurement reliability. Contribute to technical documentation and testing reports related to the sensing system. Work Location São Leopoldo
