**General Machine Operator II \- Fixed-Term Contract**

The Industrial area in Portão (RS) has this opportunity to work in the operational area.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities include:**
* Operating machines requiring CNC knowledge, such as plasma cutting machines, oxy-fuel cutting machines, bending machines, plate rolling machines, and shearing machines, which require knowledge of their operational procedures.
* Operating conventional machines (without numerical control), such as saws, radial drills, portable drills, and conventional metalworking machines, which require knowledge of their operational procedures.
* Supporting operators and assistants with more complex tasks.
* Reading and interpreting production routings and drawings.
* Performing measurements according to tolerances specified in the production order and drawings.
* Verifying whether previous operations have been completed and signed off in the routing.
* Signing off the routing phase after completing the operation.
* Recording requested information in the Quality Inspection Report (QIR).
* Keeping equipment and the workstation clean and organized.
* Inspecting products at the beginning and end of operations, with expertise in your area of responsibility.
* Moving parts using an overhead crane.
* Identifying, sorting, organizing, and finishing parts using a sander.
* Performing activities related to your role or parts requiring completion outside the preparation department, including activities associated with or resulting from machining processes originating from the department or third parties.
* Participating in internal and external training sessions, following instructions or requests from your immediate supervisor.
**To succeed in this position, it is important to have:**
* Completed elementary education.
* Preferred: Completed high school and/or technical education.
* Preferred: Experience in this role.
* Knowledge of technical drawing, metrology, and machine setup.
* Preferred: NR 11 certification for overhead cranes.
* Preferred: Knowledge of 5S.
