Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding hotel group Vila Galé seeks to integrate a Head Chef into its team for the opening of its new hotel, VG Collection Opera São Luís, located in São Luís/MA. We guarantee service quality by valuing our employees with smiles and dedication, ALWAYS BEING CLOSE TO YOU! **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Directly manage kitchen teams:** Hot kitchen, Cold kitchen, Pastry, Buffet, and sanitation areas. Hire, onboard, and train new employees. Manage costs, waste, and production services. Supervise purchasing, inventory, and stocktaking. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the department. Develop new dishes according to the Executive Chef’s requests. **YOUR PROFILE:** Completed or ongoing Technical or Higher Education in Gastronomy, Hospitality, Administration, or related fields. Computer literacy and familiarity with hotel systems and/or software from an end-user perspective. Basic knowledge of technical kitchen terminology in English and/or Spanish. Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, HACCP, and current sanitary legislation. Familiarity with equipment, products, and methods used in large-scale kitchens. Knowledge of national and international cuisines. Leadership experience within the hospitality sector, preferably in medium- and large-scale establishments. Experience with All-Inclusive systems is a plus.
