Its intervention strategy prioritizes three core pillars: i) Nutrition and Health, with emphasis on combating acute malnutrition; ii) Protection, focusing on prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), child protection, and support to indigenous communities; and iii) Human Mobility in border areas. Through specialized technical approaches, AVSI works directly with vulnerable populations—not only to save lives but also to sustainably strengthen local capacities. This project seeks to improve living conditions, resilience, and development opportunities for indigenous youth and people on the move in Santa Elena de Uairén, Bolívar, by constructing and equipping a Training Center that will serve as an integrated service hub. The intervention combines an educational strategy—offering technical vocational training (e.g., carpentry and renewable energy) and revitalizing traditional knowledge (medicine and food systems) to enhance employability—with a humanitarian protection strategy, establishing a “Safe Space” providing migration counseling, psychosocial support, gender-based violence prevention, and distribution of essential supplies—all coordinated with a cross-border response. **POSITION SUMMARY:** The purpose of this Terms of Reference is to hire a Project Manager responsible for ensuring, at both strategic and operational levels, the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, knowledge management, and team leadership for the “Semillas de Paz” Project in Santa Elena de Uairén, Bolívar. **KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** For project implementation, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following activities: Ensuring inter-institutional communication among partners, supervising all activities and guaranteeing alignment with project objectives; Managing the project cycle under AVSI Venezuela’s responsibility, adopting an integrated approach covering implementation and administration aspects; Coordinating the project’s strategic and operational activities.
