Job Summary: Bedside hospital-based speech-language pathology services, focusing on dysphagia, language, voice, and orofacial motor function, aiming to optimize service delivery and foster multidisciplinary collaboration. Description: * Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Specialization in the field is desirable; * Experience in the hospital setting; * Active CREFONO registration. Provide bedside speech-language pathology services across all hospital units, with emphasis on dysphagia, language, voice, and orofacial motor function; Assist in developing the Administrative and Technical Manual to standardize service operations, routines, and clinical actions; Support implementation of feeding assessment kits in collaboration with the nutrition team, to streamline service workflows and enhance patient progress—reducing intervals between assessments and oral feeding initiation, accelerating weaning from alternative feeding routes, thereby supporting reduced enteral nutrition costs and patient discharge; Participate in shift handovers, where patient cases are discussed to ensure multidisciplinary resolution and management, and to guarantee consistency in clinical decision-making; Complete daily patient mapping spreadsheets to track service utilization and patient volume per unit; these sheets also record clinical status, interventions, and observations for each case; Document speech-language pathology progress notes in the electronic health record system to optimize service workflow and communication among the multidisciplinary team; Collaborate with the nutrition and nursing teams of nutritional therapy to develop the Enteral Nutrition Handbook, enabling health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral feeding initiation; Provide support to the nutrition and nursing teams of nutritional therapy during EMTN trainings, enabling health education across units through staff training on safe and effective weaning from alternative feeding routes and oral feeding initiation. 251126020240647983
