Job Description – Distribution Center (DC) Operations Coordinator Job Mission Coordinate and ensure efficient execution of Distribution Center operations, ensuring adherence to deadlines, service levels, inventory accuracy, safety, quality, and resource optimization. Key Responsibilities Coordinate receiving, warehousing, picking, verification, shipping, and inventory activities. Manage and supervise the operational team, providing guidance, training, task allocation, and performance evaluation. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs): productivity, inventory accuracy, service level, lead time, losses, and damages. Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety, health, and environmental (SSMA) standards. Plan and control operational resources (labor, equipment, layout, and physical space). Drive continuous improvement of logistics processes, proposing standardization and efficiency gains. Interface with Planning, Transportation, Procurement, Production, and Sales departments. Support inventory management, cyclic and general inventories, ensuring data reliability. Monitor and support internal and external audits. Utilize management systems (WMS/ERP) for control and decision-making. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Prior experience in Distribution Center operations. Experience managing operational teams. Knowledge of logistics KPIs and process improvement methodologies. WMS and/or ERP experience is desirable. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
