Job Summary: Professional to monitor artisanal and industrial fishing in Santa Catarina, collecting data from fishers, vessels, and catches, as well as fish samples. Key Highlights: 1. Systematization of data in information systems **Responsibilities and Duties** Conduct daily visits to marine, estuarine, and lagoon artisanal fishing communities and/or industrial fishing landing sites across the state of Santa Catarina, with the objective of collecting and recording data on fishers and vessels, catches, fishing effort, and fishing areas. Collect samples of landed fish and systematize collected data in a dedicated information system. **Project Duration:** Fixed-term contract **Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in marine sciences, biological sciences, environmental engineering, or related fields; Driver’s license Category B and experience driving motor vehicles; Professional experience working with artisanal and/or industrial fishing; Availability: During the contract period, candidates are expected to reside in one of the project’s host municipalities. Availability for travel to municipalities covered by the monitoring program.
