





The Administrative Assistant – Health Plans is responsible for supporting the management and organization of the company’s health plans, ensuring adherence to deadlines and proper documentation. This professional strategically engages in negotiations and renewals of health plans while maintaining positive relationships with partners. Additionally, they manage and update information related to health plans, contributing to the efficiency and transparency of administrative processes. HEALTH PLANS PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Bill/submit health plan invoices monthly, within the established deadline; * Verify invoice data, including patient signature, health plan ID number, and number of requested exams, and check whether prior authorization is required; * Enter invoices into each health plan’s online system and complete the corresponding invoice closing in Bitlab; * Submit prior authorization requests for exams through each health plan’s online system when necessary; * Verify exam coverage with health plan providers and add or remove exams from the Bitlab system table accordingly; * Issue invoices and forward them to health plans/health plan providers; * Make copies and digitize documents (invoices and authorizations); * Archive department-related documents; * Follow the Biosafety Manual guidelines. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * In the absence of the department’s responsible person (Administrative Assistant), assist with certain tasks, such as negotiating procedures/fee schedules with health plans, supporting receivables tracking and invoice issuance, and filing appeals against claim denials when necessary. COMPLEMENTARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with cleaning the administrative department.
