Job Summary: The Legal Assistant at Transpanorama will perform procedural support activities, deadline and document control, and monitor hearings and settlements. Key Highlights: 1. Participating in administrative investigations and negotiating settlements Description: Basic requirements include: * Experience in the legal field; * Completed undergraduate degree in Law. You will stand out if you have: * Familiarity with court websites. As a Legal Assistant at Transpanorama, your responsibilities will include: * Gathering information and data related to cases, synthesizing and adapting summaries, and forwarding them to designated representatives and respective attorneys; * Weekly verification—prior to hearings—of each case's status, need for witness summons letters, substitution, or appearance at hearings; * Coordinating summonses for attorneys, designated representatives, witnesses, and expert assistants for hearings, expert examinations, and other proceedings, in coordination with the Hearing Analyst; in the Analyst’s absence or inability to act, performing such summonses independently; * Initiating settlement negotiations based on values approved by the company’s management, and completing draft settlement agreements as requested by the Analyst or Manager; * Preparing witness summons letters; * For initial hearings/conciliation/instruction/witness testimony, summaries must be sent at least 48 hours before the hearing to all summoned parties, and summons letters must be sent at least 10 days in advance. * Adapting penalty defenses based on information received from the responsible department (CGA), using a Word document and entering corresponding records into the Legal Control System (a system tracking dates and deadlines involved in legal proceedings), while seeking additional information from relevant departments—such as Claims, Logistics, and HR—as needed; * When required or requested by legal analysts or the Legal Manager, adapting simple petitions—including petitions to withdraw remaining case balances, general expert examination requests, witness designations, and expert assistant designations, among others; * Consulting and updating Dropbox to maximize procedural efficiency and ensure accessibility of shared departmental information; * Consulting and updating the legal system to maximize procedural efficiency and ensure accessibility of shared departmental information; * Validating analyses of accidents involving employees and company assets; * Participating in administrative investigations aimed at clarifying internal incidents involving employees, identifying possible corrective actions; * Managing office supply usage and requisitions from the company warehouse; * Requesting RDVOs and technical specifications, always specifying the corresponding period, employee name, and service location; * Initiating settlement negotiations based on values approved by the company’s management, and completing draft settlement agreements as requested by the Analyst (deadline control) or Manager; * Extracting, via system, a weekly report of completed hearings and forwarding it to Legal Management for validation and subsequent presentation during the weekly Executive Board meeting for appropriate follow-up; * Entering procedural progress information into the Legal System; * Auditing active employees’ personnel files in the HR Department to verify completeness, missing documents, and potential inconsistencies; * Controlling documents related to ongoing cases—for example: judicial settlements, court fees, social security contributions, tax payments, etc.; * Digitizing and archiving protocols to prove timely submission of requests according to process deadlines; * Tracking receipt of documents prepared by responsible departments and recording the request minutes in the legal system. * Reviewing claimant documentation submitted by HR and noting any missing documents; * When necessary, organizing documentation relevant to postal fine defenses per demand from the Dedicated Logistics Department, as well as following guidance and/or instructions from Legal Management; * Responding to requests for postal-related cases received via email; * When necessary or requested by the Legal Analyst (Deadline Control) or Legal Manager, preparing simple petitions—including petitions to withdraw remaining case balances, general expert examination questions, witness designations, expert assistant designations, among others. 251225020249629849
