We respect diversity and believe that diverse teams contribute to building more innovative ideas. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Help Us Design the Solution!** If you enjoy working with automation, love challenges, appreciate implementing solutions grounded in best practices, and are open to working in teams that respect who you are and your opinions, you are VERY CLOSE to joining our DB team. ### **Responsibilities** * Ensure the quality of PDV features, considering business rules, critical workflows, and operational impact. * Design **test cases** focused on risks, critical behaviors, and validation of business rules (pre\-conditions, steps, expected results or Gherkin). * Execute **risk\-oriented manual and exploratory tests**, documenting hypotheses, evidence, and outcomes. * Prioritize test scenarios based on impact to end users and the business. * Log defects clearly, objectively, and reproducibly, facilitating analysis and correction by the development team. * Actively participate in **backlog refinement sessions**, contributing to clear, testable, and business\-aligned acceptance criteria. * Constructively question ambiguous or incomplete requirements. * Anticipate risks through analysis of alternative scenarios, exceptions, and error flows. * Adopt a **preventive approach**, aiming to avoid defects before implementation. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements to Apply:** * Availability for **100% on\-site work** in Porto Alegre. * Experience with **manual testing**, focusing on business rules and critical scenarios. * Knowledge of **Java and Selenium** for automated test execution. * Ability to **design and execute test cases** (Gherkin). * Experience with **risk\-oriented exploratory testing**. * Experience in **clearly and reproducibly logging and tracking defects**. * Active participation in **backlog refinement sessions**, contributing to clear and testable acceptance criteria. * Knowledge of **REST API testing**. * **SQL knowledge** for data validation and support in defect analysis. * Experience with **test automation as a quality enabler**, primarily using Selenium. **Additional Information** From the garage at home to the world: this is how DB’s story begins.
