To support this mission, Syngenta’s Operations \& Trialing team is seeking an Associate Scientist in Cristalina/GO. This role involves full management of agricultural trials—from site selection through data analysis using digital agriculture—including team leadership and resource management. The professional will be responsible for all stages of the process, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. **Responsibilities:** * Select and contract sites for trial execution; * Prepare and operate agricultural machinery for field operations, including planting, cultivation, and harvesting; * Manage crop practices, including fertilization and pest control, with knowledge of registered pesticides; * Plan and conduct evaluations, sampling, and protection strategies; * Lead field workers and third-party service providers; * Manage purchase orders and invoices for agricultural supplies and services; * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, quality, biosafety, and regulatory guidelines; * Develop innovation projects related to the Trialling area; * Implement digital agriculture techniques to automate data collection and create dashboards for decision-making. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy (active CREA registration).
