If you want to be part of this evolution and grow alongside Ponta, this opportunity could be yours! **We currently have an opening for a Data Engineering Intern—check out the details below!** **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Database organization and processing:** Assist in organizing, cleaning, and standardizing databases sourced from various origins, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability for internal analyses and processes; * **Building and evolving data pipelines:** Support the development and continuous improvement of data pipelines using Airflow and AWS services, contributing to automation and efficiency in data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows; * **DAG maintenance:** Support the maintenance and evolution of existing DAGs, ensuring adherence to best practices in development, version control, and code organization; * **Monitoring and execution support:** Monitor DAG executions, assisting in identifying, analyzing, and resolving failures—with team support—to ensure process stability and reliability; * **Collaborative work on data projects:** Work jointly with data engineers, Product Owners, and data scientists, actively participating in projects and progressively increasing the complexity of deliverables as technical expertise advances; * **Technical documentation and standardization:** Contribute to technical and conceptual documentation of processes, standards, and best practices within the data area, supporting knowledge organization and solution scalability. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields; * Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, Firebird); * Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Python; * Basic understanding of ETL/ELT and concepts related to data processing and transformation; * Familiarity with Git and version control; * Familiarity with data orchestration tools, preferably Apache Airflow; * Familiarity with cloud computing, with focus on AWS; * Introductory knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in academic or personal data engineering projects; * Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization; * Concepts of Data Warehouse and Data Lake; * Experience or interest in technology-driven environments or startups. **Additional Information** **Information:** **Work Location:** Hybrid in Maringá/PR; **Contract Type:** Internship; **Working Hours:** To be determined. **Our benefits are amazing—take a look!** Life Insurance; Birthday Day Off \+ a Flash card credit as a gift to enjoy however you like!
