**Position: Occupational Safety Technician**
**Company:** Strong Metais – an industry specialized in manufacturing metal roofing sheets, gutters, and flashing.
We are hiring an **Occupational Safety Technician** to serve **as the sole responsible person for the department**, leading all prevention, control, and training activities within the metallurgical plant. We seek someone **rigorous, disciplined, firm in enforcing regulations**, and capable of guaranteeing a safe and organized workplace.
**Responsibilities**
* Be fully responsible for the entire Occupational Safety area.
* Conduct ongoing training for the entire team.
* Implement and enforce the proper use of PPEs and collective protective equipment (CPEs).
* Monitor production routines and act proactively.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Prepare and update safety documents, reports, and procedures.
* Ensure strict compliance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and other applicable legislation.
* Conduct training sessions
**Requirements**
* Completed technical education as an **Occupational Safety Technician**.
* Experience in the **metallurgical industry** will be considered a strong advantage.
* Rigorous, responsible, detail-oriented, and firm in inspection.
* Ability to conduct training and guide teams.
* Capacity to organize the department and make autonomous decisions.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention), and indicator management.
* Experience operating in high-risk environments.
