Accident and incident investigation and prevention Position: **OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY TECHNICIAN** **Department:** * Occupational Health and Safety **Immediate Supervisor:** * Executive Management and Department Heads **Requirements** **Education:** * Technical qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, with official certification issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) **Languages:** * Not required **Professional Experience:** * Safety management; * Industrial sector; **Years of Experience:** * Minimum 1 year documented in employment record (CTPS) as Occupational Health and Safety Technician **Knowledge (K) / Training (T):** * Full Microsoft Office suite (K); * Regulatory Standards (NR) (K); * Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Legislation (K); **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conducting occupational safety training for company employees, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); * Recording safety violations and compiling accident statistics, as well as investigating accidents, incidents, and deviations, including filing a Work Accident Report (CAT) when necessary; * Proposing safety standards and devices, suggesting modifications to equipment and facilities, and verifying compliance to prevent accidents; * Authorizing and monitoring daily activities at construction sites; * Verifying tool checklists; * Managing and recording PPE issuance on employee PPE forms; * Assessing, advising on, and authorizing work at heights, in electrical areas, in confined spaces, involving hazardous chemicals, and issuing Work Permits (WP); * Preparing Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) for construction projects; * Conducting Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS) with teams; * Reporting inspection results and preparing Excel-based reports; * Adhering to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures relevant to the position. Minimum Education: Technical Diploma Preferred Education: *Occupational Health and Safety, Technical Diploma Driver's License: Class B
