Job Summary: A professional responsible for organizing, classifying, and preserving physical and digital documents, ensuring information accessibility and security. Key Highlights: 1. Organization and preservation of physical and digital documents 2. Implementation of archival and document management systems 3. Ensuring the integrity, security, and confidentiality of information Organize, classify, catalog, and preserve physical and digital documents to ensure easy location and access. Implement and maintain archival systems in compliance with current regulations and legislation on document management and records retention. Develop and update document retention schedules, defining retention periods and disposition of documents (destruction or preservation). Digitize documents and enter data into computerized document management systems. Control document intake, outgoing movement, and lending, maintaining up-to-date records. Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of archived information. Conduct periodic inspections to identify physical damage and implement preventive conservation measures. Provide support to internal departments by locating and providing requested documents. Comply with procedures and deadlines related to records retention and disposal, in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements. **Desired Competencies and Skills:** Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Archival Science, or Library Science. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of document classification and indexing. Familiarity with archival legislation and document management practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. **Minimum Educational Requirement:** Bachelor's Degree
