Focus on correct tax classification for the Manaus Free Trade Zone The plastic products sector is seeking a Tax Assistant professional in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Register incoming product, raw material, and asset invoices in the Protheus ERP system. Record transport manifests and service invoices, verifying CFOP, CST, NCM, tax rates, highlighted taxes, and nature of the transaction. Compare invoice quantities and values against receiving reports, supporting reconciliations among invoices, purchase orders, and receipts. Identify and report discrepancies in prices, quantities, taxes, and freight charges to the responsible departments. Ensure correct tax classification according to legislation applicable to the Manaus Free Trade Zone; organize physical and digital tax document archives; assist in preparing tax documentation when required. Previous experience as Tax Assistant, Tax Analyst, Accounting Assistant, or Tax Consultant may indicate familiarity with some of the activities of this position.
