RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Collect biological samples—primarily blood—as requested for diagnostic tests Correctly identify patients and samples to ensure safety and traceability Instruct patients on test preparation (e.g., fasting, rest, urine/stool collection, etc.) Prepare and organize collection materials (needles, tubes, labels, PPE) Perform collections according to technical protocols and biosafety standards Properly package, store, and dispatch samples for analysis Record information in the system or control forms Maintain cleanliness, organization, and timely restocking of departmental supplies Comply with safety, ethical, and confidentiality standards regarding patient information REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications: Must hold a qualification in one of the following fields: Nursing Assistant, Nursing Technician, or Clinical Laboratory Technician. Active professional council registration.
