Job Summary: Responsible for supervising cotton handling, transportation, and recordkeeping; coordinating teams; ensuring operational safety; and maintaining equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise cotton loading, unloading, and internal transportation 2. Coordinate teams and train staff on safety and handling procedures 3. Monitor equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations Supervise cotton loading, unloading, and internal transportation. Organize cargo placement to optimize space and facilitate access. Maintain records of goods entering and leaving the facility, verifying invoices and transportation documentation. Coordinate machine operators, inspectors, loaders/unloaders, and bale beaters, assigning tasks and work schedules. Train staff on safety procedures, proper cotton handling, and equipment usage. Monitor the condition of forklifts, tractors, tanker trucks, front-end loaders, brush cutters, hydraulic presses, compressors, motorcycles, Fiat Strada vehicles, and other equipment. Request repairs and preventive maintenance to avoid downtime. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, accident prevention measures, and safe cotton handling practices. Conduct periodic inspections of the yard and material-handling equipment.
