Support for continuous improvement projects and waste reduction. **Position Title** Production Leader **Department / Location** Production – Industrial Unit **Position Objective** Manage production line operations, ensuring achievement of volume, quality, and safety targets, and coordinate operator and technician teams to guarantee production process efficiency at Nortène Plásticos Ltda. **Main Responsibilities and Duties** Supervise and coordinate production operators, assistants, and technicians. Monitor adherence to the production plan, productivity indicators, and quality targets. Identify production bottlenecks and propose process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and proper use of PPEs. Coordinate machine downtime, preventive and corrective maintenance with the maintenance team. Prepare and analyze production reports, loss tracking, and team performance. Conduct internal training for operators and assistants to promote continuous skill development. Support implementation of continuous improvement and waste reduction projects. Communicate\-with supervision and other departments (maintenance, logistics, quality) to align production and resource planning. Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in the production area (5S). **Entry Requirements** Completed high school; technical education in Production, Chemistry, Mechanics, or related fields is preferred. Experience in plastic manufacturing industries. Prior experience leading industrial production teams, preferably in plastics or industrial films. Knowledge of production processes, production indicators, and quality control. People management, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Availability to work rotating shifts or industrial schedules. **Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies** Team leadership and shift management. Planning and organization of production processes.
