And that is where you come in. **Your Responsibilities** * Enhance operational efficiency by reducing waste and refining processes to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and competitive production costs for metals; * Ensure raw materials, intermediate products, and final products meet established standards and specifications; * Identify and eliminate root causes of process failures, providing technical support to production processes through preparation of technical documentation and operating procedures; monitor via analysis and documentation, collect data, and apply statistical and scientific methods to verify deviations from operational conditions and standards, followed by evaluation—to maintain appropriate operational conditions, achieve specified yields and quality; * Work on higher-complexity projects or topics, including new processes, equipment, and/or machinery, with minimal coordination; prepare and review technical documentation to support operations (e.g., equipment specifications and sizing, purchase requisitions), using received or developed information to meet technical requirements, aiming at their development or implementation; * Register items in the SAP system; * Support optimization of efficiency and resources by recommending changes and improvements to processes/equipment; analyze and promote improvements in work methods and other process aspects; * Optimize existing processes, monitor laboratory analyses and field tests, handle customer complaints, support operational training, act as a facilitator in transferring new processes to production; * Create and revise operating procedures and experimental protocols based on developments and modifications performed, to keep them up to date; * Participate in investment planning, identifying new opportunities for equipment and automation in the production unit through feasibility studies and financial analyses (e.g., payback) of investment projects to assess savings generated by these projects; * Implement capex and opex projects using project management methodology within the business unit. **Who We Are Looking For** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. Intermediate English proficiency. AutoCAD MS Project Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Statistical tools (Minitab, MATLAB) Experience in industrial processes, particularly metallurgical processes, casting, extrusion, wire drawing, heat treatment, and materials characterization. Experience in development, control, and documentation (e.g., Integrated Management Systems, process documents) and project implementation.
