The River Pilot will be responsible for navigating rivers and canals, ensuring the safety of the vessel and its crew. Responsibilities * Navigate safely on rivers and canals * Operate the vessel in accordance with maritime traffic regulations * Maintain communication with shore-based teams and other vessels * Conduct routine inspections of the vessel * Maintain accurate records of voyages and navigation conditions Requirements * River Pilot Certificate of Competency (CIR) * Prior experience as a River Pilot * Knowledge of inland waterway navigation rules and regulations * Communication and teamwork skills * Attention to detail and focus on safety
