We are seeking a **Microfinance Assistant** eager to learn and contribute to strengthening the popular economy. You will provide support for microfinance activities—monitoring administrative processes, assisting with client service, credit disbursement, document organization, operational support, and activities related to portfolio monitoring and collections. **We are AmazonCred, and our mission is “to transform lives by strengthening the popular economy, contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable development in the Legal Amazon.”** If you believe in the power of financial inclusion and wish to join a team that makes a difference, come with us to transform the Amazon! **Responsibilities and duties** * Adhere to and ensure compliance with AmazonCred’s Code of Ethics; * Organize and maintain up-to-date unit files and dossiers; * Provide documents for audits upon request; * Complete unit operational spreadsheets and controls; * Provide operational support to the Supervisor and Microfinance Advisors; * Generate reports on overdue accounts and delinquencies; * Prepare and issue collection letters; * Monitor adherence to the unit’s activity schedule; * Manage inventory of folders and administrative supplies; * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education (or currently pursuing a university degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, or related fields); * Prior experience in administrative tasks, customer service, credit, or finance-related areas; * Basic computer skills (Word, Excel); * Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability; * Ability to work effectively in teams and willingness to learn; * Commitment to results and alignment with the institution’s social mission. **Additional information** **We offer the following benefits:** Our Story – AmazonCred On November 7, 2006, we—a group of regional visionaries—founded AmazonCred, a Civil Society Organization for Public Interest (OSCIP) dedicated to the human, socioeconomic, and cultural development of the Amazon.
