Focusing on delivering value to customers through quality and reliability **Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in Governador Valadares, MG.** **Who will you work with?** The Wabtec Engineering team is committed to delivering value to its customers and operations through continuous improvement, thereby enhancing equipment reliability, compliance, and quality. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Engineering (Quality–Reliability) team, you will be responsible for preparing technical reports, conducting failure analysis and root cause analysis, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and performing manufacturing compliance checklists for equipment. **What do we want to know about you?** * Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Knowledge of Power BI. * Proactivity. * Intermediate computer literacy. * Basic English proficiency is a plus. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * You will conduct on-site visits to the factory to understand equipment and product manufacturing processes; * You will collaborate with the reliability team on failure analysis and drafting technical reports regarding product improvements, warranty support, and other interventions; * You will contribute to the creation and enhancement of product development and manufacturing processes; * You will analyze warranty cases and material tracking related to those cases; * You will participate in warranty-related meetings; * You will develop final and stage-by-stage inspection checklists for equipment; **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
