If you’re passionate about being part of this purpose and wish to stay one step ahead of the market, join us! **About the Department:** Responsible for executing, guiding, and monitoring technical quality control activities to ensure report quality and patient safety. **Temporary Position to Cover Maternity Leave** **Main Responsibilities:** Perform and guide the execution and interpretation of low- and medium-complexity examinations according to technical standards; Perform, monitor, and guide the reconstitution and use of internal and external quality control materials, calibrators, and supplies according to manufacturer technical specifications; Analyze internal quality control results, interpret Westgard rules and Levey\-Jennings charts; Guide and train technical staff in evaluating internal quality control and assay calibration results; Execute external quality control and report results to providers; Evaluate routine patient results issued by analytical equipment and critically assess the impact of mechanical errors and fatal flags on these routines; Communicate report corrections to external clients; Investigate technical inquiries and provide technical support to biochemistry advisory, medical advisory, and post-analytical teams; Develop and deliver technical training for employees on equipment, results, procedures, and quality control; Log service requests and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance activities for equipment and supporting instruments; critically evaluate performed maintenance; Carry out activities related to Health and Safety processes inherent to the department (SSMA, DSSMA, Formal Inspection, FISPQ); Perform and monitor cycles of the 5S Program; Develop and revise specific documents supporting work task instructions, such as SOPs, POAs, MPEs, and POEs; assist in document and record management for the department; Evaluate the Integrated Release System (SIL); Perform assay comparability; Perform Alternative External Evaluation; Execute validation protocols for new assays and compile data for medical advisory; **We Are Looking For Someone With:** Bachelor’s degree completed in Biomedicine, Biological Sciences, or Pharmacy. Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative assay quality control; Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
