If this describes you—and if you share our passion for energy—we would be delighted to meet you! **Responsibilities and Duties** **Function Mission:** * Provide maintenance services at facilities, complying with internal requirements and procedures with maximum quality and safety. **Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician II:** * Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance at Power Plants and Substations, conducting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, and multi-year inspections; comply with internal procedures; identify deviations; suggest necessary actions to ensure compliance; and keep the Maintenance Management System updated to fulfill the maintenance plan and guarantee maximum reliability and availability of assets; * Monitor commissioning and acceptance activities for new equipment at Power Plants and Substations to obtain authorization for operational startup; * Log defects/anomalies identified during facility inspections into the maintenance management software, aiming to keep corrective maintenance planning updated; * Ensure proper use and preservation of facility maintenance tools and instruments, to safeguard employee safety and company assets; * Respond to emergencies; receive materials and equipment, verifying against invoices; control, organize, clean, and maintain spare parts in good condition; comply with established procedures; suggest improvements to storage conditions, aiming to maintain inventory in optimal condition for use; perform special inspections at facilities; locate and identify causes of automatic shutdowns, to restore equipment operation as soon as possible; * Operate company vehicles, complying with traffic legislation and fleet policies, safeguarding safety, company assets, and the image of COTESA and its clients; * Comply with legal regulations and internal procedures; correctly use and maintain PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE); proactively address risks during tasks; identify hazardous situations; propose control measures to immediate supervisors to protect health and safety; * Contribute to preparation of monthly and technical reports, following engineering-established standards, submitting them to supervisor review to meet contractual deadlines and legal requirements; * Provide technical information regarding equipment and system failures and performance, reporting specific data to support analysis by Engineering specialists; * Recognize operational events during working hours or when notified by Operations (e.g., automatic shutdowns, systemic fluctuations, high-severity alarms, etc.), implementing local actions requested by Operations to ensure maximum asset availability; * Perform local operations at telecontrolled facilities when remote operation is lost, adhering to network procedures, operational routines, and local operating instructions to guarantee maximum asset availability; * Contribute to preservation of civil infrastructure, ensuring suitable physical conditions to adequately support operational activities; * Maintain positive relationships among accessing and accessed parties, fulfilling operational agreements and shared facility arrangements to maximize cooperation between all parties; * Maintain positive relationships with the client’s local team to align service demands arising from client requests with internally generated demands; * Comply with environmental requirements, guiding other team members to meet applicable environmental legislation and programs stemming from project licensing; * Participate in executing Contingency Plans and/or Emergency Response Plans and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions for compliance, and sizing required resources to ensure personnel and facility safety and operational continuity; * Provide service and perform other professional duties related to and inherent to the position, per guidance and/or request of the immediate supervisor. **Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician III:** Will assume all responsibilities described for Maintenance Technician II, plus: * Contribute to planning, coordinating, and guiding team members’ activities to ensure safety, work quality, adherence to deadlines, goals, and indicators, and to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes; * Execute maintenance plans for assets, performed either by in-house teams or third-party contractors, complying with and enforcing internal procedures; identify deviations; suggest necessary corrective actions; size required resources; and keep the Maintenance Management System updated with execution-related information to ensure operational asset availability; * Assist in monitoring area KPIs, identifying weaknesses and discrepancies; suggest actions; and assist the supervisor in implementing corrective measures to improve area processes and support strategic decision-making; * Receive and accompany external agency visits and audits, per immediate supervisor’s guidance, addressing requests and presenting documentation to demonstrate compliance with legal requirements and established regulations; * Assist the supervisor with local administrative/financial/accounting management (cash handling), complying with financial-administrative procedures and contributing to issuance of inflow/outflow reports supported by invoices to meet financial-administrative requirements; * Contribute to development and execution of Contingency Plans and/or Emergency Response Plans and/or Dam Safety Plans, following internal procedures, identifying deviations, implementing necessary actions for compliance, and sizing required resources to ensure personnel and facility safety and operational continuity; * Contribute to drafting technical specifications, following internal procedures, to procure specialized services; * Support development of fellow team members by guiding task execution, sharing knowledge, and reporting training difficulties and needs to the supervisor to contribute to team capacity building. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Technical degree in Electrotechnology, Electromechanics, or related fields;
