Job Summary: Vascular Surgeon to diagnose, manage, and treat vascular diseases, with proficiency in conventional and endovascular interventions. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in teaching and team development activities **Description:** 1 \- Specialist Qualification Registration as a Vascular Surgeon (RQE) issued by the Regional Medical Council or application protocol for this registration; OR 2 \- Certificate and/or statement confirming completion of, or expected completion by March/2026, of Medical Residency in Vascular Surgery issued by a hospital accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Diagnose, manage, and treat peripheral vascular diseases, with proficiency and training in conventional and endovascular interventions across all vascular territories, applying resources, techniques, and equipment to preserve or restore vascular function; Perform high-complexity examinations across all vascular territories; Prescribe treatment, including medications and general measures, to improve vascular function; Know, discuss, and comply with standards established by the clinic’s coordination, and contribute knowledge and suggestions to enhance the team and improve workflow organization; Report adverse events and health incidents; Observe ethical principles throughout professional activities; Participate in collegiate bodies when requested, contributing to addressed demands and discussions; Assist in gathering information, monitoring, and meeting indicators and targets outlined in departmental action plans; Respond to institutional requests to serve as Preceptor, Tutor, Instructor, and/or Coordinator in teaching activities; Participate, together with the multidisciplinary team, in meetings, committees, health surveillance programs, biosafety, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention initiatives, contributing as required within one’s scope of competence; Support hospital coordinations on matters inherent to one’s area of expertise, proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform decisions on actions to be adopted and assist in continuous improvement of departmental processes; Participate in developing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applying them in daily practice; Participate in, or act as facilitator for, Permanent Education initiatives as required and per institutional policy, within the scope of one’s activities; Ensure proper care of materials and equipment under one’s responsibility used in performing duties, thereby extending their service life; Perform duties observing occupational safety requirements, properly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all activities, complying with current legislation and institutional regulations; Support one’s immediate supervisor on matters inherent to one’s area of expertise, proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform decisions on actions to be adopted and assist in continuous improvement of departmental processes; Perform other related tasks of equivalent difficulty upon request from one’s immediate supervisor. 251107020230967689
